This is how I used to record all my demos.

When I went to Hawaii with Toro last April my head was in a weird place. While I was on that trip, Mat emailed me demos for what was going to be the next Coma Cinema record (at the time the titles “Virgin Veins”, “Empty Palace”, and “Posthumous Record” were being thrown around). I opened it excitedly. Mat had pitched down all the tracks and put a phaser on it. I still listened to them all on repeat. Needless to say, my weird mood was made weirder. This track (“Exhaustion Prevails”) was one of my favorites (though it doesn’t look like it will be making its way onto the upcoming record School Shootings).
