Anonymous asked: was it a deliberate choice on the new album to make the songs so short? I felt more than ever some songs should go on longer.

I like short songs.  A 14 minute album encourages people to listen to it over and over, and when you do that you really start to get what an artist is trying to say.

Get in, play the best part, get out and move on.  That’s always been the way I operate.
