Anonymous asked: Have you ever floated around the ideas of either recording a Live Album like from a show you'd do bootleg style or have you ever thought about recording a Covers album of you doing like 4/5 cover songs near and dear to your heart?
When Coma Cinema existed as a band of five people, a live album would of been really cool. There was a time when the band was incredibly different than the recordings and this was a good thing. There have been several versions of the band that I thought might make a good live album but no one ever really recorded us outside of a couple videos on youtube.
As far as covers go I generally don’t like them. I have to feel that a song is vastly unknown and under appreciated or that I can do the song in a very different way than it’s original version that might highlight what is important to me about it.
