Anonymous asked: how do you feel about people comparing you to Elliott Smith?

I have a lot of love in my heart for him.  I’m certain his method of songwriting was vastly different from mine, but how could I be anything but flattered when someone compares me to who is in my opinion the best songwriter who ever lived on this terrible planet.
